That's me! Thanks for the compliments! That suit has been sitting in two coffin-sized bins in my basement for the past 5 years, but I hope to smooth out the surfaces and add some LEDs to resurrect it.
It was constructed using wire that I twist-tied at intersections to make a 3d model-esque frame. I then layered it with foil and added strips of paper mache, followed by model magic for some of the molding. Layers of black primer and mottled silver and brown paint with brushed on wear finished it off. The only reason why I tackled this specific suit as my first set of armor was because Super Smash Brothers Brawl had the rotating trophies to use as reference, and I wanted to make a less represented suit.
I later made a Fusion Suit for the following Tora-con.
Haha, yeah, it was stifling in there- the helmet would fog up and the weight of the armcannon and shoulders made me sore by the end of the day- but it was well worth it! Thanks again for taking my picture!
